It was just one year ago today..

our dear friend Helen Thomas passed away. This American icon dedicated her life to serving the people as a member of the fourth estate. She was known to be the first one in and the last one out. A true professional focused on doing her homework and asking A the tough questions. Her questions shook several of of our sitting Presidents.  She loved this country and her family and friends. She was one of the kindest, most compassionate and generous people I've ever known. I will always be grateful for our friendship.
